Monday: We had Talleres which was super lit. I love all the people here in the zone. We also got to teach a super lit peruvian family w/ the elders in Badajoz, in this place called Jerez de los Caballeros, which was super lit, there will surely be a barrio there soon.
Tuesday: Headed back home and had a really good lesson w/ Raphael and a really good NDH w/ Liliana and her mom Viki!!
Wednesday: Got everything set up for Carlos' baptism and had an amazing lesson w/ Samuel about the fall of Adam and Eve!! He is such a good guy, i love him so much. Mi tocayo 💪💪 After that we had a super good NDH w/ Viviana and Carlos Alegre. Vivian and Carlos are going through a rough time, so it would be great if you could all please pray for Samuel, Raphael, and Viviana and Carlos, all of them could really use your prayers🙏🙏
Thursday: Had a super fun activity with the JAS (YSA) where we all made pizzas caseras, and all of them were delicious. Alejandro invited one of his friends, Esther, and they all had a great time. It makes me so happy to see so much growth in the branch; especially with the youth.
Friday: Hit up a lit exchange with Elder Pavón. Hes a máquina. We did some street contacts and gave out 3 Books of Mormón!! We also saw a member in line for icecream, and she bought us both one!! Super delicious.
Saturday: Carlos got baptized!!! It was such a good baptism. The Spirit was extremly strong, and it makes me so happy to see how much happiness he has received as he reads the Book of Mormon and prays and comes closer to history Heavenly Father. We also got transfer news, and im going to be training in Chilcana!! Although it was sad to leave all of the amazing people here in Cáceres, I'm super excited to train again and go back to the Cadiz zone.
Sunday: We had a wonderful fast and testimony meeting. Since Élder Oporto and I are leaving the area, we got to bear our testimony first, which I was very grateful for. The best part of every week is always partaking of the sacrament. After church we studied and ate and said our last goodbyes to John Marín, Raphael, Liliana and Viki, and Viviana and Carlos.
Hoje: Woke up and had some delicious breakfast (churros y porras) w/ President Andy Nelson and Gaby. I love them and all of the people here so much. Currently on a tren to Sevisha 😲🫡
Today I would like to talk about charity. I love 1 Corinthians 13, and Moroni 7. We can have faith that moves mountains, speak with the tongues of angels, have the gift of prophecy and know of all mysteries and all knowledge, or we can give all of our goods to feed the poor, or give our lives, but if we have not charity, we are nothing. If ye have not charity, ye are nothing. Charity is the pure love of Christ, and it endureth forever; and whoso is found possessed of it at the last day, it shall be will with him.
I invite you all to follow the Prophets council, to take intentional steps to increase your charity and virtue. I promise that as you do so, your confidene in the presence of the Lord will increase. You can have confidence in approaching the Lord, right now. It shall be well with you at the last day.
I testify that this is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It is the only true church on the earth today, meaning, it is Jesus Christ's church, and everything that it teaches is the truth. I testify, sobre todo, that Jesus is the Christ, and if we are to become like Him, we have to follow Him. In the sacred name of Jesus Christ, amén.
