This week has been LIT!!
Monday:
Super lit pday. Its so good to be back in Cádiz. Had my first baptismal interview which was amazing!! We got some llaollao and chilled the rest of pday. Then we had District Council which was also so fun. I love our district so much, all of the people are so amazing. Then we worked hard the rest of the day 💪
Tuesday:
Pretty normal day, so super good and fun. We heart attacked la presidente de la sociedad de socorro, which was super good!! We also had a future elders class which was also amazing!!! Its so crazy to be in a ward again where everything is super organized and all runs super well.
Wednesday:
The heart attack worked and the presidenta de la sociedad de socorro told us that we could come over tomorrow AND friday!! Besides that pretty normal day. We also got to meet w/ out elders quorum president, Carlos, and make cookies with his family and teach them a lesson, and teach their daughter english!!
Jueves:
Got to meet w/ our relief society president, María Gema, and Milagros was also there!! We also got to give a blessing to one of our friends, Juan Antonio. Please pray for him, he is going through an extremely hard time rn.
Viernes:
We were able to find some people in the streets, and have lunch w/ Conchi Martín, and her son Míguel Ángel!! Elder Millett had never had churros before, and he is gluten sensitive, and so theres place right by our piso and a park with gluten free churros, so we went there and then to the park to do some yellow dots, and Juan Antonio walks up to us, and so we were able to give him some churros and read through 3 Nefi 11 with him. It was a really big miracle. Again, please pray for him. 🙏
Saturday:
Had a super lit day. Alan Fabrizzio (who is peruvian and got back from his mission in Peru 7 months ago) went street contacting w/ us and we found some people, we did some video lessons together, AND he had us over at his house with his whole family. It was super amazing. We had a video call with our friend Adrián. He had been taught by the missionaries before, and had a baptismal date, but then ghosted the missionaries. He reached out to us a week ago, right when we got here to Chiclana, and told us that He needed our help and wanted to stop smoking and drinking. We had a videocall w/ him, taught him the restoration, asked him if he believed Joseph Smith was a prophet, he said yes. He has such amazing faith. We asked him if he wanted to try again and set a goal to be baptized and to stop smoking and drinking, and he said yes. Please pray for him to stop smoking and drinking and that he can be baptized. 🙏 We also had dinner with a member named Robert from San Diego which was super amazing. He took us to an indian place and for ice cream. Such an amazing guy. He offered to drive us to any lesson that we need to go to.
Domingo:
Super good day. We got a bunch of member citas set up. We went over to Pilar and Nicolás' house and had some pollo asado (so good). And then it was a pretty normal Sunday, had some fire planning lessons. I love the día de reposo.
Hoje:
I wanted to share with you guys today about personal revelation. I love Proverbs 29: 18, thay says, "Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he." There are two things that I love about this scripture.
1. We need a vision and revelation for our lives.
2. To receive revelation, and to be happy, we need to keep the commandments.
"Do not suppose, because it has been spoken concerning restoration, that ye shall be restored from sin to happiness. Behold, I say unto you, wickedness never was happiness." - Alma 41: 10
I invite each and every one of you to keep the commandments, and to seek personal revelation in your lives. Ask of God, He is there, ready to answer. If you knock, He will open. Ask, and ye shall receive. In the name of Jesus Christ, amén.
I love you all ❤️
Os quiero 🫶❤️
