Buen día a todoooos!!! ¡¿Cómo estáis?! ¿Cuál es la fruta más impaciente?

- Maracuyá

¿Qué hace un pez en el espacio?

- Nada, nada

This week has been pretty lit, so lets get right into it 😎

Monday: Ate at TGB (The Good Burger), and believe it or not, they have pretty good burgers. We also had a wonderful NDH (noche de hogar) w/ Ronald y Georgina and their abuela, Doris Betsabe.

Tuesday: Had a super good day of teaching!! We got to help one of our members understand the investidura better, and help her be prepared for this next month when she goes to receive it!! Its super exciting to see all of the progress in everyone here in Cáceres!! Members, and non-members!!

Wednesday: We were able to meet with some inactive members that havent gone to church in a long time!! We talked with the relief society president about them, and she said that they said they are going to a different church and don't want any visits, but, a day or 2 later, the dad of the family, Jorge, sent us a message, saying "we are free this wednesday, come over at 4pm." It was such a miracle. And they are such great people, and honestly have such strong testimonies!! I know that their lives will change if they come back. All are needed in God's kingdom. We also had a really good lesson w/ our fecha, Carlos!! He is such a good guy, it would be great if you could all pray for him to get baptized soon!!

Thursday: Had a super good exchange w/ the Elders in Badajoz. I got to be with the absolute 🐐 Elder Robinson. Such a great exchange. We taught a less active member, taught a brazillian family 🇧🇷, taught a recent convert (taught her in front of the temple of Diana and so it felt like I was in the bible), and had a super good lesson w/ Francisco who lives in Merida. I love all of the people. The worth of souls is great in the sight of God.

Friday: Continued our exchange and had some fire paella and tortilla, and I got to change some filters in air conditioners. Went back to Cáceres and I got to teach our friend Samuel the restoration. It mightve been the best lesson of my life. He used to be a grey dot, and the other elders found him through football, and they offered him a book of mormon, but he didnt accept it. I messaged him later, through divine guidance, and he responded and was super interested. He had a lot of good questions about repentance and why are there so many churches. The Spirit was super strong, and he was able to recognize it very well.

Saturday: Went to a chinese buffet, which was pretty good. Went with a member and a friend and they had a lot of fun.

Sunday: Always the best day ever. I am so blessed to be able to renew my covenants every week. We also had an area wide broadcast from Belguim because President Oaks was on vacation there and he spoke there to the whole area. It was so amazing. He taught us how to be better, how to better fulfill the commandment to be perfect and to have unity. He talked about service, among many other things, which I really loved. We also had a family of 13 from brazil and portugal come to church which was super cool.

Monday: Super good day. Visited the menos activa family of Nolvia and Jorge. Also had a great lesson w/ Nieves and Georgina, and made brownies w/ her and her grandma, and Ronald. Its super funny to me how fascinated latinos are with brownies, they love them, and I do too 🤣 Shout out to Elder Palmer for the goated recipe 🙏❤️

Hoje: I was reading in Alma 31, and verse 5 is one of my favorite scriptures:

And now, as the preaching of the word had a great tendency to lead the people to do that which was just—yea, it had had more powerful effect upon the minds of the people than the sword, or anything else, which had happened unto them—therefore Alma thought it was expedient that they should try the virtue of the word of God.

Verse 23 also really stood out to me:

Now, after the people had all offered up thanks after this manner, they returned to their homes, never speaking of their God again until they had assembled themselves together again to the holy stand, to offer up thanks after their manner.

If we only brush our teeth once a week, our teeth will go yellow.

If we only shower once a week, we will stink.

If we only eat once a week, we will die.

Likewise, if we only feed ourselves spiritually once a week, we will not be able to spiritually survive. We have to make a constant and consisten effort every day. If you have that consistency, you will be able to grow so much closer to God and have so much more love and joy and peace and happiness. I testify that to you all in the name of Jesus Christ, amén.

Hasta la proxima

Os quiero 🫶❤️
