Buenos días/tardes/noches/madrugadas a todooosssssss. Espero que estéis teniendo un día muy bueno.
This email is going to be different and short because I have been sick all week 🤣
Monday: Had a wonderful P-Day, got to go around the casco histórico of Cáceres and play some ping pong. That night we had a NDH w/ Ronald and Georgina and Yeimi which was super fun, but I sadly felt my sickness get worse and on the way home i felt fatal, so Elder Oporto gave me a blessing and we went to bed
Tuesday: Woke up feeling even more fatal, so I rested the whole day.
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: Rested all day 😭
Saturday: Rested all day Presidente Nelson (branch President) called us and asked us if we could come to the church at 7 to help him shred some papers, so of course we did.
Sunday: Got news that next sunday we will be in our nuevo local!! They have been waiting on the new local for at least 2 years, so it is such a miracle that we will finally be able to use it. A bunch of people in the branch got callings as well, including our recent convert Ronald, so I am so excited to see the progression of this branch. El Señor está apresurando Su obra.
Hoy: On Wednesday as I was resting and pondering, I was awaken from my sleep by the thought "Is your faith for you or for God?" It lead me to think about faith and charity. Do I have faith in God, only for blessings? Or do I have faith in Him to be able to perform His work and be an instrument in His hands? A quote from President Monson sums up my thoughts pretty well. He said "I want God to know that when He has errand to run, that Tom Monson will run that errand." I, likewise, want God to know that when He needs an errand run, that Sam Powell will run that errand. Not just to receive blessings in my own life, but because it is what God wants. I know that as we have faith and charity, we will be able to bless the lives of every single person in this earth. God can and will use you to perform marvelous and wonderful works, if you are willing. No matter how able a person is to perform a certain task, if they are not willing, God cannot use them. On the other hand, no matter how unable someone is at performing a task, if they are willing, God can and will use them, and make them able. So, be willing, and watch the world begin to change. I leave you will with my testimony that Jesus is the Christ, and that He will soon come again. God is your loving Heavenly Father, each one of us are His children. Look unto Him in every thought, doubt not, fear not. Darkness cannot exist where there is light, so, look unto the Source of All Light, and let YOUR light so shine, so that others may see it and glorify your Father which is in Heaven. In the name of Jesus Christ, amén.
Espero que tengáis una semana maravillosa 🫶🙏
Os quiero ❤️
