The title this week goes to an abuela that didn't like my barça jersey 😔 But almost everyone else here in Cáceres is a barça fan, so we're chilling 🤣
Monday: We saw some super cool Roman aqueducts and visited a member in Badajoz that has a bunch of dogs and chickens and goats and a bunch of old atrifacts, and he is the sweetest guy ever.
Tuesday: We had exchanges, and I got to go with the one and only Elder Robinson. I love him so much. We met some members that their daughter is Sandra from Jerez, and so I had already met their family before when they came down to Jerez, and we would eat w/ Sandra and her husband Pablo every week. Super super cool. We had some great street contacts and taught their fecha which was super cool, he is from Zaragoza and such a lit guy, he has such good questions and is getting baptized this Sunday.
Wednesday: We had an activity with our recent convert and one of his friends and taught him about the premortal life and creation and the fall of adam and eve which went wonderful.
Thursday: Met with Viviana and Carlos Alegre, a super lit familia de argentina, and we brought Ronald, our recent convert, which was amazing. They are going through a super hard time, but the Lord always provides.
Friday: We visited Angel Zurdo and his wife made us mole which was super good. He has a dog and a bunch of little kittens which was super cool. We visited a friend named Liset from the dominican republic and she is super super cool. We had a JAS (YSA) activity after that playing cards, which was super fun and we had 3 friends there.
Saturday: We went to play soccer in the morning, but sadly nobody was able to show up, so we invited everyone to church and then we headed over to a members house from Paraguay, named Gricelda and Luis Gilberto. They are super super nice and gave us some delicious bizcocho.
Sunday: Had a wonderful reunion sacramental, one of the best ones in a while. Taking the santa cena is always the best part of my week. We did some studies and street contacts and were able to find 3 people which was great.
Hoy: Today I want to talk about the joy of sharing the gospel. In my time in Jerez, my first area, there were a bunch of people that we were trying to get baptized, and now almost all of them have gotten baptized, and seeing them make that decision and all of the people there growing closer to Christ makes me so happy. I can't even begin to explain the joy that comes to me when I see someone that I was working with get baptized. How great are the worth of souls in the sight of God. How great is the worth of your soul in the sight of God. So, go bring yourself and others to Christ, and experience of this joy. This fruit that is above all the sweetness of the world. A joy that is so great that it can only come from above, from our loving Heavenly Father, and Jesus Christ, and His plan. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Os quiero 🫶❤️
