Tuesday: To celebrate Elder Palmer leaving the hospital, we have had a bunch of food 🤣 Diego made us his famous hamburgers, which were honestly the best that I have ever had besides the ones from a random bar in Madrid. Then we went to get donuts w/ a recent convert, and then we went to eat with Jadhirt and his family and they made us some carne asada which was delicious. Elder Palmer suggested we share our own personal scripture that has significance and meaning to us and invite them to look for their own personal scripture, and so I would invite all of you to look for your own personal scripture and try to remember it during those hard times of your life.
Wednesday: We helped Jadhirt and Karolina and David and Alexis put in their new kitchen and played jungle speed w/ them which was super fun 🤣 Then we went over to the Pinteño family and taught them about prayer and listening to the Spirit which was such a good lesson as well. All the members here are like my family to me.
Thursday: We had weekly planning and a super cool lesson w/ a britishman named Ben Glenn David Mills and he is looking for the fundamental teachings of Jesus Christ and wants to be baptized properly, which is exactly what our church offers, because it is the original church of Jesus Christ, so it was a super cool lesson. Then we did some passbyes and got to teach our recent convert Sheyla Alma 7:11-12 and she told us sobre a really cool experience she had of when she was walking home in the middle of the night w/ her little daughter and it was raining super bad and she was worrying about her daughter getting sick and then a random lady came out of nowhere and gave her an umbrella. We also passed by another one of our recent converts María Bucea and we heart attacked their door, which they really liked.
Friday: We got transfer calls and I will be whitewashing Cáceres and training!! Im super excited to train and go to Cáceres. I know im going to learn a lot. District council was super fun and then we helped the member Ana that her husband is german move some furniture to the house of Xiomara and then Xiomara made us jamon bocadillos and Ana made us arepas which were both super good.
Saturday: We did a blitz in Orihuela and it was super fun. Elder Malachowski and I found some super cool people and Orihuela is beautiful.
Sunday: Best day of all as always. I said goodbye to all of the members and ate w/ Diego (the group lider and his family) and Xiomara for some arepas 😋 Best arepas in the world fr. Then we went over to Jadhirt's house and we are going to say goodbye to then again tonight (monday night) with some baleadas 🙏
Hoy: Today has been wonderful. One of my favorite scriptures is Exodus 3: 11-12. God told Moises that he would be a prophet and deliver the covenant people from Egypt, "And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt? And God said, Certainly I will be with thee." If God asks us to do something, He will be with us as we do it. 1 Nefi 3: 7. I invite you guys to see the Lord's hand in your life. Do what He asks of you, keep His commandments and follow in His ways, and look for the blessings that come to you, look for how He helps you, and turn to Him for help.
