¡Ai me encantan los pelirrojos!

The title for today goes out to the drunk tío watching us walk past the bar he was in 🤣

This week has been so amazing.

Monday: Monday night we stayed in Alicante for exchanges the next day and it was so amazing. I got to eat w/ the Justiniano family again (from Bolivia so they have some fire food), and it was so great to see them again. They are such an amazing family, and I am so grateful for them.

Tuesday: We had exchanges and I got to go w/ the goat 🐐 Elder Grant. It went super well. We got to eat la bandeja paísa for lunch which is so good. We also got to teach an Italian guy that had been taught in Italy and had moved to Alicante. It was our first time meeting w/ him and he accepted a baptismal date for this Sunday, the 16th! So please pray for him 🙏 I learned a lot of Elder Grant and I got to see Juan Esguerra, a guy that Elder Qosja and I baptized when we were in Alicante together, and it made me so happy to see him and Roger and all of the other members in the 2 wards in Alicante.

Wednesday: We helped Jadhirt and his family take the parts of their new kitchen up to their piso which was a lot of work considering that the pieces were like 3 meters long and they lived on the 6th floor, but it all worked out and was fun 🤣 Jadhirt has been obsessed w/ the legend of Zelda botw recently and so he keeps telling us all about it which has been fun 🤣 We headed over to Angel's house in Aspe to teach Jhon y Jacqueline, but they were sick so they didn't come, so then Angel showed us his gaming setup and he told us about that for a good few mins 🤣

Thursday: We went over to Maria Bucea's house w/ Rodrigo to talk w/ her and teach her a lesson. Please pray for her as well, she is one of the most elect people i've ever met but is going through a rough time w/ her family, so please pray for her 🙏 After that we went back home and had a videocall w/ Jhon y Jacqueline, and they could also use all of the prayers possible 🙏 Then Jadhirt called us up right after the video call and told us they were making tacos so we went over as fast as possible and had some tacos w/ them 🤣

Friday: Pretty normal day. We had District Council which was super fun as always. We came back to Elda and talked to the people in the street, some of whom are super interested which should be wonderful. Then we got some donuts and headed back home 🤣

Saturday: Super good day, we helped Jadhirt armar and put in the kitchen while he told us about the legend of zelda 🤣 It was pretty fun. Then we headed over to Aspe to teach Jhon and Jacqueline. Angel told us that the bus there left at 3:40, when really it left at 3:05 and got there at 3:40. When it hit 3:40 he was freaking out and was about to come and pick us up w/ his car, but for some reason there was a random bus at the same stop, going to Aspe, at 3:40, that we got on and it took us there. God cares for His children. We taught Jhon y Jacqueline about temples and part of the plan of salvación and about marriage and the law of chastity, and they are super ready. Jacqueline said that she is dispuestísima (super willing) to marry Jhon, which makes me so happy. Please keep praying for them 🙏 After that we came back and contacted all the people in the street.

Sunday: Such a good day. On saturday while at Jadhirt's house Diego, the group líder, asked us to give the class and a talk because other people werent able to come, so of course we said yes. I wrote my talk sunday morning within like 15 mins, and Elder Palmer wrote the class within about the same amount of time that morning. I basically just wrote down scriptures and prayed that the Spirit would guide me. Elder Palmer's class went amazing, and then we had my talk, and I went up there and just followed the Spirit. After I sat down I thought that the talk didn't go well and didn't make sense, but immediately after that the Spirit came over me and comforted me and He let me know that I did good and that He was proud of me. Diego, the next and only other speaker, went up and he explained how when he told us to give us a talk and we asked him what topic, he told us to surprise him. I will put in the talk at the bottom of the email, but basically what I talked about was putting God first in our lives, letting God prevail. It set Diego up perfectly for his talk about always remembering God. He used 2 italian words that both mean forget, but one means to forget with the mind and the other means to forget with the heart. I hope that we all remember our Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ, with our heart and mind, before we forget with our minds, and eventually our hearts. After that we had a noche de hogar with them (a family home evening), and they made the entire noche de hogar based over my talk. After that we went over to the Santacruz family and they made us the best arepas ive ever had in my life. 🤣

Spiritual thought:

I do not share this experience about the talk to boast in myself, or say that I am so great and such a great speaker and I'm so good at following the Spirit, I am far from perfect. I share these things to show how great God is. I could not have known what Diego was going to talk about, and what was going on in the lives of every single person in the congregation, but God does. He knows and He speaks to all of His children. I promise each and every one of you that as you try to follow the Spirit, He will change your life. He knows everything about you. He knows your doubts, your fears, what makes you happy and sad, what gives you excitement, everything. He knows every single second of every single part of your life. He is your Father. You are His child, and He loves you. I invite you to follow the Spirit this week and to watch for the change in your life. Watch how God will change your life. More importantly, watch how God will change you.

I love you all and I hope that you are all doing wonderful, I am always praying for each and every one of you ❤️

Os quiero ❤️

Dos grandes mandamientos (Mateo 22: 36-39)

Juan 14: 15-27
