Lets get straight into it 🤣
Tuesday: Tuesday was wonderful, we were able to teach a bunch of people, and all of the lessons were super touching and the Spirit was extremely strong. We met with a inactiva member named Rosana, and she served a mission in the Bilbao mission back in the day, and she was so nice, she took us out to eat and she told us a bunch of stuff, and although she says she isn't interested in coming back to church, she was so nice to us and gave us a bunch of names of people to visit.
Wednesday: Wednesday we got a super lit reference named Jhon, and he is super excited to learn more about Jesus Christ and grow his relationship with Him. We also got to teach our amigos Miguel and Mario, and did some street contacting, which at the beginning of my mission was hard for me to do, but now its one of my favorite parts of missionary work. We also found a store that has dr. Pepper and GOOD instant ramen 🤣
Thrusday: Thursday we were able to teach Miguel the gospel of Jesus Christ, which went wonderful. We helped Jadhirt and his family paint their piso, and since there was some not very holy music being played, i got to put them on the Tonga Sister's gospel music which was super lit 🤣 We also had a friend that had a dream about the Spirit World and the 3 kingdoms of glory, so it was super cool to explain to him what all of it meant. That was our second lesson w/ him ever.
Friday: Friday we had District Council and we also found guaraná in consum 🙏🙏🙏 We got to pass by a members house where the mom is super active and has a super strong testimony, but the rest of her
family is menos activo o inactivo, and so it was wonderful being able to be with them. After that our friend Francisco has been sick for about a week, so we asked him if he wanted a blessing, and he said yes, and so we gave him a blessing, and we didn't have any lesson planned because it was last minute, but the Spirit touched our hearts to talk about baptism, so we did, and Francisco said that he has the desire to be baptized, and so we set the date and later he said that's the day before his birthday, which is the best birthday present ever.
Saturday: We were able to call up Marcia and teach her a bit. Please pray for her 🙏 We did some street contacts and invited a bunch of people to church. We had lunch with Diego and his family, and they made us some delicious shepard's pie and arroz con leche. Our message with them was about listening to the Spirit, and there is a talk that talks about how listening to the Spirit is like a radio, how there is a bunch of static, but we have to tune into the Spirit. In Spanish the video is called la Voz del Espíritu, so in english it's probably the voice of the Spirit, so go watch it. We went to Xiomara's house w/ Carlos, Nelly, and Edwin, and she made the best arepas I have ever eaten in my life, and then out of nowhere whipped up some delicious agua panela w/ orange and lemon and it was just so good 🤣
Sunday: Santi, Jhon, and Jhon's wife Jacqueline were all able to come to church!! Jhon and Jacqueline live in Aspe, so it's a bit aways, but our recent convert Angel, who lives in Aspe, was able to take both of them to church, which was so amazing. Elder Palmer and I were able to give talks, and I love giving talks so much, I can always feel the Spirit so strong. The Santacruz family invited us over to eat and they whipped up the best nachos I have ever had in my life, so so good.
I hope you are all enjoying and loving life, and no matter if you are or aren't, I would invite all of you to look for ways to feel of God's love. Look for His hand in your life. I know that it can be hard to see at times, but I can promise you He is there. Look for Him in the details. He loves you, and I KNOW that He is constantly reaching out to you. Pray to Him and talk to Him, He wants to hear from you. Read the scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon, because often times that is our He talks to us.
