I don't have much time so this will be short 🤣
Tuesday and Wednesday we read the entire Book of Mormon and it was so amazing. It strengthened my testimony so much. Every time i read the Book of Mormon, I feel an added power to my life.
Thursday: I've been sick for a minute now so we stayed in for the morning, but we had a lesson that night and during the 30 min lesson I didn't feel sick at all, and right after I felt horrible again 🤣 I know that that was God helping me to perform His work.
Friday we helped Jadhirt tear down and rebuild his family's piso and fix his car which was fun pushing it through the Spanish streets 🤣 we also got a reference from Brasil, Marcia, who told us the Spirit touched her and she wants to be baptized as soon as possible. That was the first message she sent to us.
Saturday Marcia texted us in the morning saying that she wanted to go to church. We found out that Marcia lives 35 minutes away in a house in a cave outside of a pueblo, and only 4 or 5 members have a car here, but by a miracle our member Carlos Santacruz was able to take her there and back.
Sunday Maria came to church and it was wonderful. She has a fecha for the 16th of Febrero, so please pray for her. We had food with the group leader, David, and his family, and it was delicious. We also had dinner with Lorelin, Jadhirt, David, and Angel, to celebrate Lorelin's birthday.
Today has been amazing!! I got a haircut and was able to talk to him about my conversion story and the Book of Mormon, and he is a friend of the Alicante 1 Elders, so it was super cool, and of course he was Colombian so he is goated 🤣
I wanted to share my testimony today about the small and simple things in our lives. Our faith, testimony, and overall relationship with our Heavenly Father (God), and our Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ, is built up over time by doing the small and simple things ever day and week. By praying daily, reading the scriptures daily, and going to church weekly, and doing these things with a sincere heart, and pure intent, having faith in Christ, we can know the truth of all things and we can become more like Him and experience true love, joy, peace, happiness, every good feeling in this life. There is nowhere else to find TRUE love, peace, and joy, other than in Heavenly Father, through our Savior, Jesus Christ. It can only come through Him. In the name of Jesus Christ, amén.
