Buenos días a todooooos!!!!
First off I wanted to thank all of you for the birthday wishes. I apologize if I'm not able to get back to you today, but please know that I love you all and I am so grateful for each and every one of you. 🫶❤️🙏
I also apologize if this email is super rushed 🤣
Wednesday was pretty lit. We helped Jadhir and his family buy cement and take it to their apartment for renovations, and then we ate with him and talked with him about the mission which was super fun. We were able to meet with a family where their 3 kids got baptized a little bit ago and they are so wonderful. They have a bunch of kids so it was super fun to be around them. We showed them the video of 3 Nefi 11, and talked about prayer, and invited them to pray as a family every night, and it was so powerful. The mom was in tears and the Spirit was so strong.
Thursday we did weekly planning, and later on we were able to meet w/ our friend Francisco!!! 🥳🥳 He is Spaniard and came to church last Sunday and is super interested in the gospel. We gave him a book of Mormon when he came to church last Sunday, and he was already in 2 Nefi when we met with him. We taught him the restoration and it went very well. After that we headed over to Aspe to teach a familia ecuatoriana, and it was such a blessing to meet with them because they share their piso with a guy because they only have like a week here in spain, and he doesn't like other people coming into the piso. He was outside of the piso and so we were able to teach them the restoration as well, and it went amazing.
Friday we helped Jadhirt and his family take down a wall and then take it to the garbage 🤣 We had district council and then took the bus home, and then did some street contacts and studies.
Saturdayyyyyy!!!! 🥳 Best birthday ever. We had a lesson with our friend Miguel who is from Peru and we taught him the restoration, and the Spirit was so strong. He was super excited to come to church. After that, we went to Dominoes and did come y bebe (all you can eat) with Angel (recent convert) Jadhirt, and his brother David. It was super fun, I love those guys so much. Angel is preparring to receive the Melchesidec priesthood, and we are working with David to get on his mission. After that we went over to the Santacruz family and they are super excited to work with us and have given us a bunch of references. After that we had ANOTHER lesson with Francisco and taught him the first half of the plan of salvation and he understood it super well.
Sunday was super lit. The Pinteño family and every single recent convert besides one came to church and it was amazing. We had lunch with the Santacruz's and tried the agua panela and it was delicious. We passed by the Quiñones Bravo family and they are so lit. One of their kids, Juan Pablo, wants to serve a mission, and they are such an amazing family.
I think I have taught the restoration more these past 2 weeks than I have my entire mission 🤣
Something that I have relearned is the amazing and wonderful reality that we have a prophet on the earth today. There are so many stories, with Enos and his pueblo going to the kingdom of God, Noah building a boat, Moses parting the Red Sea, Daniel surviving the Lion's den, the Brother of Jared seeing God, Alma the younger's conversion, and so, so, so many more. We have a prophet of God in the earth today, named Russell M. Nelson. He is the mouthpiece of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is able to direct His church through His prohets and apostles.
I invite all of you to ponder and pray about this amazing truth. To gain a testimony of it. To know and truly understand what it means for YOU, personally, to have a prophet of God on the earth today.
I love you all and I thank you all again for all of your love.
Os quiero ❤️🙏
¡Hasta el próximo! ❤️
