¡¡¡HOLA A TODOOOS!!!
I sincerely apologize if I'm not able to respond to your email today, we had a Christmas conference for the whole mission in Madrid today, and so I haven't had much free time.
I also apologize if this email is short, I don't have much time to write it 🤣 But I love you all so much, and I am so grateful for each and every one of you! This week has been amazing, and I have learned so much!!
Tuesday we had a noche de hogar with the ward, and it was wonderful as always. Our friend Nikki came and brought her son, and they loved it. Mateo also had a competition with me making faces 🤣🤣
Wednesday we had exchanges, and I got to go with the wonderful Elder Roberts, and he is the best, I love him so much. We had Chinese food for lunch, and Elder Roberts speaks some Chinese so that was super cool to see🤣 I never realized how much I love Chinese food 🤣
Thursday we had a pretty normal day, made some cookies to pass out to menos activos, and had a super good weekly planning session. The Spirit is so strong when you gather together in His name and plan to work for Him. We receive revelation, majority of the times, line upon line, precept upon precept. He gives to us a little here, and a little there, until we have, one day, all.
Friday we had an amazing lesson with a recent convert who got back into a smoking addiction. She has such a strong testimony and desires so much to follow Christ and the way which He showed back to eternal life with Heavenly Father again. It is so amazing to see people with such strong testimonies. God changes us into people better than we can ever imagine. He gives us a life full of pure happiness; a life better than we can ever imagine.
Saturday we talked to our amigos Luis y Juan, who are 20 and 19, and they both want to be baptized. It is so amazing to see how they change day by day. It is so amazing to see their desires to change and follow Christ and be baptized. It is so amazing to hear their testimonies and how they have and do feel the Spirit. Please keep them in your prayers.
Sunday there were 2 baptisms in Barrio 2 aquí en Alicante, and it was so beautiful. The joy that was inside of them, was palpable. Through follow Christ, through faith, repentance, baptism, the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end, we can have true peace, comfort, joy, love, the most pure and true and free life that we can possibly live.
Today we had a Christmas conference in Madrid with the whole mission, and it is so beautiful. I love Madrid so much. We played soccer in the morning, and I got to meet up with everyone that I have met throughout the mission, and meet some more, and listen to the amazing words of Presidente and Hermana Obando. I know that they are called by God. I know that we as missionaries are called by God, through His prophet, to do His, the Lord's, work.
I love you all so much. I hope that you are all savoring this beautiful Christmas season. Christ is the light and the life of this world. EVERY single person in this world NEEDS His light, so, shine the light which He has given you. Help those around you. Talk of Christ, rejoice in Christ, love Him, and show Him that you love Him.
I love you all, and I invite each and every one of you to search for Christ in your day-to-day lives. I would also invite each and every one of you to seek for ways to share His light. Hold the door open for someone. Help someone carry something. Give comfort. Smile at someone. Be an example of the believers. As disciples of Jesus Christ, we are His hands. We are commanded to follow His example. I promise each and every one of you that as you turn and look outwards, trying to be like Christ, you will be changed, and you will be overflowing with joy, even in the most trying times of your life. He is your PERSONAL Savior.
Os quiero ❤️
