Benvinguts a Alacant

¡¡¡¡¡HOLA A TODOOOOOOS!!!!!

¡¿How is it going?!

I love you all so much and I hope that you are all having amazing days.

This week has been such an amazing one. I have learned so, so, so, so much.

Tuesday Elder Roberts, Elder Peredo, and I, got up at 5am, got ready, and headed to the train station in Cádiz to go to Madrid, and then from Madrid to Alicante. We got to the train station, and they said that some of the cars in the trains had problems, so it got delayed for a little until they just had us get on another train, it was a little sketchy but it was pretty chill. 😂 After our long travel, we were finally in Alicante, and we met up with all of the other Elders. We came back to the piso, I unpacked my stuff, and then we had a noche de hogar, so Elder Qosja and I headed on over. Here in Alicante there are 2 wards and 4 missionaries in each ward, so the work is super lit and so are the wards. It felt like I was back in Utah for a second when i got there and there was a bunch of people 😂 the ward is so nice and loving and funny, and our bishop lived in West Valley for 3 months, which was super cool to find out. He said he lived right in front of the Golden Corral 😂

Wednesday I learned that there is a person in our ward with a calling that is to set up lunch citas with members for us, so we basically have a lunch cita every day. We taught this super cool Argentinian family, and then figured out that they were in Barrio 2, so we sent them over to the ZL's and they will take good care of them 😂

Thursday 🦃 we had lunch with a friend of the other Elders in Barrio 1, and it was delicious. He made us some rice and a fish/yuka soup and it was so good. He also made us some super fancy desserts 😂 It was also THANKSGIVING!! I hope that you all had the best thanksgiving ever!! 🍂 We went and ate at the Good Burger as a district, and then went back to piso and called our families and slept.

Friday we had district council, and Elder Locci taught me how to make gnocchi (he is Italian so it was delicious). We did some street contacting which was pretty lit, I have been able to see a lot of improvement and Elder Qosja is cracked at it. We met with our friend Jony, and it is looking like he will get baptized, so that should be amazing 🤞 We also had institute and 2 of our friends came which was so cool. We have amazing JAS (young adults).

Saturday Barrio 2 had a ward activity, and it was so fun. I found some Brasileños from Sau Paulo and they are super cool, they told me of a place where we could get some good brazillian food 🙏 We also had lessons with Juan and Luis, and they are looking like they will get baptized as well, so hopefully that should be amazing as well 🤞😂

Sunday was so amazing. It is always my favorite day. It is such a blessing to have a day set apart for the Lord; to gather together and renew our covenants. We got there and there was a couple from France (I think Paris but I'm not sure), and they didn't speak Spanish but they spoke English, and Elder Qosja went to sit with some of our friends that came to church, so I got to translate the meeting for them, and it is a lot harder than it looks 😂 my respect and appreciate for translators (especially the general conference ones 💪😂), has skyrocketed 😂 We had lunch with a Bolivian family, la familia Justiniano, and it was so amazing. They made us rice and a dish that had fries, tomatoes, onions, steak, and sausage, and I can't remember what it was called, but it was delicious. She also made us brownies and ice cream, and it was so good. That family is hilarious. They also have the Spirit so strongly in their home.

I have learned so much this week. I have been able to grow closer to my Savior. I have learned and felt His love for me. I know that He loves each and every one of you. He loves you.

I love this talk by Elder Hirst of the 70 in the last general conference, called "God's Favourite"

God’s Favourite

I want to invite each of you to watch/listen to it. I know that God shows His love for us in ways that we can understand. Find out how He speaks to you. Recognize Him and give thanks. He is there in every moment for you. His arms are always stretched out long enough to reach our reaching.

I love you all and I hope that you all have the best day ever!!

¡Os quiero! ❤️
