I apologize if I'm not able to respond to your email, but please know that I really love and appreciate all of you and reaching out to me.

And I hope that you all had an amazing Christmas!!

This week has been amazing. Tuesday night, we ate with the Justiniano family, and it was amazing. They are so much fun and do so much for us. I am so grateful for them.

African Owl

Christmas we ate lunch AND dinner with members, and it was both so amazing. It is always so amazing to share the gospel. The family that we had dinner with had a cabin mas o menos that was far away from the city and it was super lit. They also had an African owl so that was cool 🤣

Thursday was pretty much a regular day. We had a great weekly planning session and have some great things to look forward to concerning the work. We had choir which was amazing as always. Emmanuel is such a máquina with music, he knows music theory and has basically mastered the piano casually.

Friday we talked with Juan and Luis (our two most recent converts) about the priesthood, and they both have an interview tomorrow with Obispo!! Seeing their change brings so much happiness to my soul. Jesus Christ changes lives. A steady study of the gospel of Jesus Christ will change every aspect of your life for the better, as you are willing to act upon the enticings of the Holy Ghost. We also had English class and it was so fun. We taught a family of 4 from Honduras, who a member from Honduras referred to us, and they are so amazing. Our English class should grow a lot for this week as well, with so many people being interested in it.

Saturday Obispo had interviews with Luis and Juan and they will both receive the Aaronic priesthood soon!! They both asked me if I could confer the priesthood upon them and I am so excited to, I know that it will be such an amazing experience. They will both be going to the temple soon as well, and I am so excited for them to feel the Spirit in the temple and perform ordinances for the dead. I also got taught how to make Alicante Paella by a member named Juan Guillén Martínez, and his family has been in Alicante for 16 generations, and his last name comes from a French queen who was married to a Spanish king, and if that history doesn't convince you that the paella was fire i dont know what will 🤣 There was also a baptism in the 2nd ward (barrio 2), of a russian friend of the zl's, and it was so cool to see. The Spirit fills the room every time that someone is baptized. It is palpable.

Sunday was also a pretty nice and regular day. Taking the Santa cena (sacrament) is always the best part of my week. I love to renew my covenants with God and show Him that I am willing to continue to follow Him and keep the covenants, or promises, that I have already made with him. We ate with a family from Ecuador, and they easily have the most underrated food. Ecuatoriano food is always so good. When we shared a message and talked with them, the Spirit was so strong. We were able to give the father a blessing, and it was a very spiritual experience. We got to talk with Suleyma, a recent convert for a little over 3 months, and she is already bringing friends to church and sharing the gospel with them. She is wonderful and I am so grateful for so many amazing people around us.

Today has been great, we played some soccer (futbol) and ate some super good ramen. I love every single person here and the culture and just everything about Spain and the area where I'm at. I know that God has sent me here for a reason, and I can feel it burning in my soul. I know that He has a work for me to do, and I will do all that He shall send me. I know that only by Him am I able to do His work. All glory be to God.

I love you all, and I wanted to thank every one of you for all that you do. For me, for yourself, and for all of those around you. Each and every single person is a beloved soul: a beloved son or daughter of God. When we realize our divine existence and potential, and see things with an eternal perspective, life becomes much easier. This life is not the end, and it was never the beginning. This life is crucial to make choices that will help us return to our Heavenly Father one day. His work is to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man. His plan is made for you to succeed. So, take His outstretched hand, and succeed. Feel true joy and love, peace and comfort, in your life. He will show you things greater than you can imagine. In the name of Jesus Christ, amén.

I want to say again I am very sorry if I don't get to respond to you today, please know that I love and my heart is full of gratitude for each and every single one of you.

¡Hasta luego!
