How is everyone doing?!
To start this off, if you could all add the people in Valencia and Jerez to your prayers, especially those in Valencia, there has been an insane amount of flash floods, and over 200 people have died in Valencia. We were unaffected by it, just a little wet shoes, but they have lost a lot, so it would do a lot if you guys would add them to your prayers.
This week has been insane 😂 Monday we went up to Madrid for our residency with Elder Kailiponi and Elder Sircable, and we got some delicious Burger King 😂 We basically spent the entire day on the train so not much happened, but we got to see the wonderful tech elders and missionaries in Spain. I also found some Crocs that people left and nobody wanted so now I got some fire light green Crocs 😂Tuesday we went up to San Sébastien (the one in Madrid), which is in the north mission, and it was the nicest place I've ever seen 😂 We went to a super nice bakery for breakfast and got some hot cola cao and it was amazing. For residency the police got our fingerprints and they printed us a paper for us to come back in a month, and Elder Sircable's said that he was born in Cuba, so they had to redo that 😂 Basically the rest of the day we traveled back to Jerez.
Wednesday was rainy. We had an appointment with some members, and so we walked out in the rain, and then while we were in the streets they started flooding, so we went to an American pizza place for lunch instead and while we ate the floods stopped, and walking back we saw like 7 doors, a toilet, and everything else out of place, it was insane. We stayed inside the rest of the day because we were in a red alert, and that was pretty much the whole day.
Thursday we stayed inside for a lot of it as well, but we were able to go out and it felt super nice.
Friday not much happened either, we had district council and it was amazing as always, I love all of the missionaries here.
Saturday, not much happened either 😂

This week has been pretty normal, but to end off this email I wanted to talk about what it means to be successful, especially as a missionary. Your success isn't determined by how many people come to church, or how many people get baptized, or getting that new job, or anything like that. Success is determined by how intentful you are, how much you try, how much you desire. If you are giving God your best, you are successful. When you have trials, you can learn and grow from them to be a better person. Don't focus on the worldly things, but focus on God and do your best for Him, and let the Atonement of Jesus Christ work in your life. You can learn and grow from the good times and the hard, and you can know that your loving Heavenly Father is proud of you for doing your best for Him.
Os quiero muchísimo ❤️
Hasta luego
