Qué tal usted?!
This week has been wonderful! I have seen so much progress in every aspect of my life, especially my Spanish.
Saturday was pretty much the same thing as the other days, BUT even better because every day is better than the last day, so today is basically the best day ever. It rained a lot and was so nice I love wearing suéters every once in a while and el amanecer was beautiful. We also got to get haircuts, and they did not do bad at all. Everyone needs a haircut from the MTC once in their life 😂
Sunday was amazing as always. I was able to study in a bunch of places, but I ended up in Revelations, which is one of my favorite books in the scriptures. What stood out to me is those who overcome trials and repent will be able to come back to God, and we have a loving Savior who we can rely on for all things, and will help us through everything as we turn to Him. Revelations 21:4. God is love, and with Him there is peace in even the moments in our lives with the most commotion. We were also able to be in the choir again which was so amazing. The Spirit is always so strong. Taking the sacrament is the best part of every week.
Monday was amazing as well, pretty much the same as the other days but even better, so much growth and progress and love. Me and Élder Adams went crazy in basketball haha.
Tuesday, pretty much the same as the other days, BUT we got to play fútbol in the morning, and it was super super fun, I got to practice my rainbows haha.
Wednesday was super cool, we were able to help welcome the new missionaries into the MTC. Élder Adams and I got to carry suitcases up the stairs AND I got to meet an Elder from WVC which was super cool, he is in one of my best friend's ward, (ofa lahi atu ma'u pe Asi), which was so cool to find out. We got to meet some super cool people welcoming everyone too. They also flew la Bandera de España, and so that was super cool to see. Beautiful flag 😂 AND we got cookies and cream chocolate milk which was pretty good. Me and Élder Adams had our first HOA (teaching appointment) in Spanish on Wednesday and it was so amazing. The Spirit was so strong.
Thursday was another wonderful, beautiful day, los amaneceres are always gorgeous. I saw the most progress out of any day on Thursday. The Gift of Tongues and the Spirit is so amazing. I set like 7 alarms that say a bunch of things like "Elder Carpenter, it is 12:30am" to help wake up Elder Carpenter 😂 and apparently my alarms are loud and you can hear them through the walls cause one of our neighbors came over and asked who has the crazy alarms 😂 but he told me that they help him to wake up too so he told me to turn them up 😂
Friday: today has been amazing. We got to play more soccer, and Foosball, and we had our second HOA which was so cool. The Spirit is so strong every single teaching appointment.
In conclusion, the Lord loves you and He is in relentless pursuit of you. Come unto Him and He will come unto you. Knock and it shall be opened unto you. He stands at the door knocking, waiting for you to open it. Let Him in and see how your life changes.
En el nombre de Jesucristo, amén.
Nos vemos
